What Is The Fuss Over Jay London?

In all seriousness, Jay has mentioned that he has studied the "old style" comics. I have as well, all though comic I am not. Writer, yes I am in some nebulous capacity. From Lewis & Martin, to Hope, to Abbott & Costello, to Rickles, to Hacket, to Berle, to Silvers, to Winters et al, Jay is merely breathing fresh air into the tried and true. And for those of you who have not immersed themselves in the aforementioned comics, you simply won't "get" Jay.
Jay's timing is impecable. Period!

Regardless of his stint on "Last Comic Standing", Jay could, quite potentially, be a force to be reckoned with.
Actually come to think of it, where is Dat Phan? (No no, not THIS fan, Dat Phan! Where are the fans of Phan?) And Ralphie May...he's doing well, I think. I saw him on Leno a couple weeks ago. He's "edgy", but I think we might see him on QVC in a couple months, hawking yet another "lo-carb" diet plan. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
The "old style" comics aren't dead. They're just lying in wait.
