Read the linked article, and the only thing that really hit me was the fact that the article just had to say this was a, "Senior Senator (democratic)." So what, even if it was a junior senator , or a republican sometimes you just have to say what is on your mind. Remember these government officials are just people like you and me, thus at times they like us find the need to express themselves in the same manner we do. What the F. . . is she talking about.

You know, it's interesting anyone would equate swearing and cussing with "being a man" or "being assertive". I was always of the understanding that swearing was a sign that a person had run out of intelligent things to say and was falling back on insults as a way of responding to valid criticism.

Perhaps that's what we want in government. We want someone who is not afraid to say f*** you, even if we tell our children it's wrong, even if we feel bad if someone says it to us because it becomes plain now that Lenbert is sanctioning the whole idea of doing so because it shows Cheney isn't a wimp.

i considered just repeating the above argument with 5 variations of the f-word to be concluded by 6 pages of just the f word.

instead i am going to close by saying i got my own little "f u" to give cheney on nov 2 (election day for those outside the us).

I think the Vice President had just reached the end of his patience with these backstabing pussies in the democratic party who are losing thier ass in the power game. They attack his integrity - openly calling him a criminal! I say good for him. I know the propoganda out there says he and Halliburton are out destroying the world for profit and with total disregard for human life. Right! He is a decent honorable man. One has to make the effort to study and learn the real accomplishments of these great men. Unfortunatly most people are to busy or to lazy to do this, so they rely on sound bites to make thier decisions. It is pathetic but true.

in general do have their own measures of appropriate speech, but I happen to be the kind of person that sees more from the
stated words along with the meaning..., But I tend to see more than just speech, I also, decipher character of the person doing

It is funny to me that people forget how at some point in their life they used language that was unbecoming. For you that have never sit in on a board meeting, and heard some of this countries great legal minds use language that what make a sailor put in ear plugs. Or for those who think that a teacher who is truly upset with a student hasn't let slip a little verbage that a parent would be glad to sue over. For those of you who are perfect, but have children how about thinking back in time when you were just a wee bit upset because they continued to do something you didn't like. Oh, and for those of you perfect people attempt to remember what it was like growing up, and you couldn't go out because of something you did that was wrong. Please remember life has its pits falls, thus because of this we have a tendency to say things in the heat of the moment.
